Howard Class of 1964/Riverside Class of 1964

 

Dear Classmate,

 

Thank you for your participation in the 50th Class Reunion.  We can’t wait to see you.

 

The class has decided to publish a DVD with pictures and information prior to entering high school through graduation and beyond.  We 

are seeking your participation by asking you to submit up to five (5) photos / or other items for inclusion on the DVD.

 

Here are some examples of items that can be included:   

l Photos of events (reunions, picnics, dances, trips, etc.)

l School Programs

l Newspaper Articles 

l Any Photos of Chattanooga in 1950s through 1964, especially the parts of town where we lived    

l Photos of prior Reunions

l Anything from 1962-1964

l Private Gatherings that included classmates

 

 

Each submission should include:

l Time Period (Specific Date/time/year)

l Occasion

l ID (names) of people in the Photo  

l Comments, if appropriate

 

We do not promise that caption information will appear with each photo.  This requires special software to retrofit this information on the photo and there are time constraints that have to be considered by the committee.  Make sure your name is on items to be returned.  

 

ALL SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN BY JUNE 1ST 2014!!!

 

How to submit photos and information:

l Email digitized items to HowardRiverside64@gmail.com.  (Walmart Walgreens, and many other places can convert a photo to digital.)

 

 

 

The class has also decided to sell advertisements for our Reunion Program that will be distributed at the banquet.  With this, classmates 

and friends can purchase advertisements to offer congratulations to the Class of 1964, and to individual class members.  

 

Here are the rates: $50 for a full page Ad

$25 for a 1/2 page Ad

$15 for a 1/4 page Ad

$5 for being a patron

 

You are free to include ANYTHING that is reasonable to go on the page or portion of a page that you purchase.  That includes photos.  It is your design.  Please send your Ad and $$$ to our P.O. Box listed above, Attn: Janet Bonam Hester.  If you have questions, Janet can be

We encourage all classmates to actively solicit Ads and patrons for our Reunion Program.

Your $200 reunion fee already provides for you and one spouse/guest/significant other).

 

Additional people can be invited to our banquet and dance on August 30, 2014.  The cost is $50/person.  

 

You MUST forward the NAMES of each additional guest, and the $50 for that guest by August 1st, for them to be included.  This is a strict 

deadline.  There are many logistical considerations we must resolve with the hotel that depend on the number of people attending.
